Mitigation Program Strategic Plan Consulting Services

The Regional Municipality of Halton requires a vendor to provide mitigation program strategic plan consulting services offsite. The selected consultant must conduct a comprehensive market scan and best practice review of basement flooding mitigation approaches across relevant jurisdictions. The vendor will develop a three-year basement flooding mitigation program strategic plan that reduces flooding risk, improves wastewater system resilience, and decreases wet-weather flows, while also identifying five-to-ten-year strategic directions. Scope areas include public education, customer experience, hydraulic modelling, basement flooding risk mapping, and asset condition assessment programs.
