Purchase Services of Police Service Dogs

The County of Orange Sheriff-Coroner requires purchase services for police service dogs. The selected contractor must supply dogs between 16 and 36 months of age from breeds such as German, Czech, or Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Labrador Retrievers, or Bloodhounds. Dogs must possess basic obedience, demonstrated athletic ability, verifiable lineage documentation, medical records, and relevant certifications. Additionally, contractors must be located within a 100-mile radius of Orange County, California, carry performable work on vendor premises, and serve as expert witnesses in California Superior Courts. Eligibility is limited to USA-based onshore organizations. Submissions require firm pricing on an individual item basis and selected awardees must supply proof of insurance, signed W-9 or 587/590 tax forms, and applicable local small business or disabled veteran business enterprise certifications. Clarification questions must be submitted via the online portal by October 27, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically through the OpenGov portal before 4:00 PM on November 4, 2026.
