Scope of work
- Conduct initial, annual, and reevaluation occupational therapy assessments
- Provide direct, indirect, classroom-based, push-in, pull-out, group, and natural-environment services
- Address fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care, functional, positioning, mobility, and access needs
- Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, nurses, families, and related service providers
- Provide specialized expertise in feeding and swallowing, autism, sensory-motor needs, and in-home family training
- Provide staff and family training, equipment identification, and program support
- Acknowledge evaluation assignments within three business days and meet all IEP deadlines

Minimum qualifications
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapy Practices Board license and NMPED credentials, certifications, and registrations
- School-based occupational therapy experience
- Experience working with students with disabilities, families, and educational teams
- Experience with evaluation, documentation, electronic IEP systems, and Medicaid requirements
- Completion of required background checks, fingerprinting, employment verification, and Vector training
