Professional Design Engineering Services

The City of San Bernardino requires professional design engineering services for its Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Implementation Grant Plan. The selected vendor must provide onsite roadway safety improvements at five locations, including pedestrian safety enhancements, bicycle facilities, traffic control improvements, roadway friction treatments, lighting upgrades, sidewalk gap closures, and signalization improvements. Only US organizations operating onshore are eligible to bid. Interested vendors must attend a pre-bid meeting on October 28, 2026, and submit all questions or requests for clarification no later than November 5, 2026. Prior to agreement execution, the chosen consultant must file the required evidence of insurance certifying coverage from an insurer authorized to transact business in California.
