Township of Bordentown Request for Proposals for 2027 Appraiser Services

The Township of Bordentown is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the position of Appraiser for calendar year 2027. The selected appraiser will assess and provide valuations of properties for tax appeals, open space acquisitions, and property acquisitions for road widening and other public projects. Applicants must be USA-based organizations and licensed New Jersey real estate appraisers with ten years of experience. Applicants must submit one sealed original proposal and a digital PDF copy to the Office of the Township Clerk by Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Proposals must include a completed proposal cover sheet, Attachments A through I, proof of professional errors and omissions insurance, a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, and a proposed compensation structure. The Township will evaluate applicants based on qualifications, municipal experience in New Jersey, familiarity with Bordentown, proposed compensation, and ethics and conflict of interest certifications.
