Town of Smithers Asset Management Program and Strategy Development Services

The Town of Smithers seeks proposals for asset management program and strategy development services to establish a sustainable asset management program linked to a long-term financial plan. The scope of work includes creating an asset management policy and implementation strategy, conducting a technology readiness assessment, establishing a consolidated GIS-based asset inventory, and migrating AutoCAD infrastructure data into an ESRI and Verti-GIS platform. The contract term is one year, and work will be performed offsite. Only Canadian organizations are eligible to bid. Applicants must submit proposals digitally via email or online by 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Submissions must fit within the specified project budget, include a $100,000 cash allowance for Phase 2 work, and exclude contingency costs. Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria in Schedule A, with award recommendations submitted to Town Council for final decision.
