Request for Proposal for Plan Review and Inspection Services

The City of Commerce is soliciting proposals from qualified professional service providers to perform plan review and building inspection services. Under the resulting contract, the selected vendor will review plans for code compliance and dimensional requirements, track and report reviews, and inspect buildings, signs, and other structures under construction, alteration, or repair. The scope involves both electronic and traditional paper plan submissions, offsite work performance, and potential appearances at City Council meetings. Submissions require a 5% bid bond, a notarized Contractor Affidavit complying with the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011, and three client references from similar Georgia entities.
