2027 Agricultural Fairgrounds Advertising, Promotion, and Education Program Grants

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is accepting applications for the 2027 Agricultural Fairgrounds Advertising, Promotion, and Education Program. The program funds traditional advertising, digital marketing, and educational projects to increase visitor participation and public understanding of New York State's agricultural economy and domestic arts during the 2027 county and local fair season. Eligible applicants are agricultural and horticultural corporations and county extension service associations in New York State that sponsor an annual fair or exposition and receive premium reimbursements under Article 24 of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law. All not-for-profit applicants must register and be pre-qualified in the State Financial System (SFS). Applicants must submit a completed Work Plan and Budget via email to [email protected] by July 1, 2027. Program questions are due by November 5, 2026. A total of $550,000 is available, with individual grant awards up to $11,000 for projects implemented between January 1, 2027, and October 1, 2027.
