Artificial Intelligence, Teaching, Learning Benchmarks and Datasets Service

The agency is seeking a vendor to design, develop, and validate three distinct and independent open-source K-12 instructional data corpora. This initiative aims to establish standardized benchmarks for artificial intelligence applications within specific educational contexts. The project focuses on three critical use cases: providing adaptive learning experiences and feedback for students, assisting teachers with lesson and instructional planning, and facilitating teacher coaching. The scope of work requires the creation of an AI benchmark tailored to each of the three identified use cases. All performance of the work will occur offsite over a contract period of one year. The resulting datasets and benchmarks must be released as open-source resources to support the broader educational technology field. Eligibility is restricted to organizations based within the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is requesting that bidders provide a comprehensive cost proposal.
