School Finance Data System

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a school finance data system to replace its current system for collecting, warehousing, and using school finance data. This solution must support data collection from two hundred public school districts and charter schools. The system must feature role-based permissions to control who can view and edit data, and it must offer dashboards that allow the agency, school finance officers, and the public to query, extract, roll up, suppress, aggregate, and export data. The requested scope of work includes enabling the creation of peer districts for comparative analysis based on enrollment, school type, expenditure levels, and geographic area. The system must interface with the existing Statewide Student Information System to map school finance data with student demographic data, and it must interface with GitHub. The agency requires an automatic mechanism for exporting information to ancillary systems before, during, and after the submission process, as well as the ability to accept file submissions in CSV, Excel, and PDF formats. The selected vendor must map and archive ten years of historical data currently stored in Excel and SQL formats. The agency requires a reliable hosting solution that maximizes user access and supports queries across all data points. Eligible bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to define the cost of this project. The resulting contract will span a period of two years. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency will host a pre-bid meeting on July 15, 2026.
