Affordable Housing Development Service

The City of Solana Beach seeks an affordable housing developer to redevelop a fully entitled, 12,920 square foot mixed-use project. The project includes 10 very low-income dwelling units, 53 subterranean parking spaces, and 795 square feet of commercial office space. The City offers a long-term ground lease for $1 per year and some financial support for construction. The work will be performed onsite. Only onshore US organizations are eligible. All questions must be submitted by August 7, 2026. The City is looking for proposals and will consider an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement to establish development procedures.
