Distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology Develop and Integrate Service - Pre-Release

The agency is seeking a distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology development and integration service. The project covers the development and integration of an AI system capable of collaboratively commanding and controlling a multi-agent Group 1 or Group 2 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) swarm. This swarm must defend an area against a numerically superior enemy swarm. The AI system must interface with existing, standard platform autonomy and perception systems. Platforms will collaborate to determine optimal strategies, targeting clusters of enemy platforms through AI algorithms and inter-drone communication for targeting information from other friendly platform perspectives. The AI and other software algorithms will continuously plan and take optimal actions in a decentralized manner. The system must leverage active communications when operating in a permissive network environment and operate under denied or degraded network conditions by communicating passively. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. Performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to address this requirement.
