Security Program Comprehensive Study Services

Durham County requires comprehensive security program study services. The scope includes an independent, enterprise-wide assessment of the physical security ecosystem, encompassing access control, video surveillance, storage, identity lifecycle processes, disaster recovery, and system integration. The vendor will evaluate all physical security systems, document system inventory and architecture, perform retention and storage modeling, analyze bandwidth impact, and evaluate integration opportunities. The vendor will also analyze security guard coverage, recommending technology-driven efficiency improvements. A future-state modernization roadmap, aligned with County CIP planning, will be developed, including recommendations for platform evolution, storage architecture, DR strategy, and identity automation. The work will be performed offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore (USA organizations only). A pre-proposal conference and site visit are scheduled for August 18, 2026. All questions must be submitted no later than August 25, 2026. Proposals are being sought.
