Supplemental Guard Services

The buyer requires supplemental corrections guard services for facilities located in Washington, DC. The selected contractor must provide security and inspection services at staff entrances and loading docks for the Ready Center, Central Detention Facility (CDF), and Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF). Guards must control entry and egress by screening persons and packages to forbid unauthorized access and prevent illegal property from entering or leaving the locations. Additionally, the contractor must discover, prevent, and report safety risks, security risks, damage, violations, pilferage, theft, misuse, or unlawful threats. The buyer will provide one day of advance notice if the required hours, days, or sites change. To qualify, bidders must be onshore USA organizations. Performance of the work will occur offsite. The buyer is currently seeking proposals and has not provided specific budget figures or key submission dates in the project description.
