The buyer, a government authority located in Jacksonville, FL, requires environmental support services associated with byproduct and solid waste management generated from circulating fluidized bed and other turbine power generation facilities. The requested scope includes designing environmental and material characteristics testing programs, preparing conceptual site models, site assessment work plans, reports, and remediation plans. The selected vendor must conduct soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and air investigations, prepare treatability study plans, conduct treatability studies, and implement Pilot Study Work Plans. Additional tasks require designing and studying environmental characteristics of fugitive dust from roadway construction materials, managing groundwater monitoring wells, designing haul road stormwater management plans, and planning pond liner repairs.
