Independent Auditing and Certification Services

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires independent auditing and certification services for its integrated management system under ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards. The selected vendor must plan and deliver audits across a three-year cycle, covering the agency Headquarters and designated Regional Inspectorates, with all locations receiving at least one audit per cycle. Specific duties include conducting certification, surveillance, and re-certification audits, preparing and presenting formal reports, recommending certifications, and verifying corrective actions. The vendor will not audit the Energy Management system during the first year (2027), but the agency will integrate ISO 50001 over the next one to two years. Eligibility restricts the contract to Ireland-only onshore vendors, and the successful bidder will perform the work offsite. The buyer sets a three-year contract period and seeks proposals for the budget. Interested vendors must submit all questions no later than September 18, 2026.
