Electrical Control System

The government authority located in Westchester, NY requires a vendor to provide a complete electrical control system. The buyer needs the refurbishment and installation of motor control center (MCC) buckets, installation of new standalone variable frequency drives (VFDs) with bypass, relocation and replacement of power and control wiring, temporary electrical service during construction, grounding improvements, programming, commissioning, and testing. Specifically, the scope includes upgrading 40 HP Lazy River Thruster VFDs and a 75 HP Lazy River Pool Filter VFD by installing new supports, disconnecting existing wiring, decommissioning and bypassing old VFDs within the MCC, and running new wiring. The buyer also requires temporary power maintenance and MCC grounding upgrades, including replacing oxidation-affected aluminum grounding lugs. The buyer limits eligibility to onshore USA organizations only. The vendor must perform the work offsite at their own office premises.
