Pharmacy Inventory Service

The buyer seeks a competent external vendor to provide pharmacy inventory services to a government authority located in Ronkonkoma, NY. The selected contractor must conduct a data-driven, certified physical pharmacy medication inventory twice each year to support pharmaceutical cost management. To qualify, the vendor must be an onshore USA organization. The vendor must deploy an 8-to-10-person team led by a defined supervisor. All team members must pass background checks and drug tests, wear uniforms with photo ID badges, and have their names submitted to the pharmacy up to two weeks prior to the visit. On-site visits require no more than three weeks of lead time to schedule, must start by 7:45 AM, and must conclude within one business day, with the physical count taking 3 to 5 hours. The team must demonstrate high-level organization and review the inventory with Hospital Pharmacy Leadership before exiting. The buyer performs the work offsite and requests proposal submissions for the budget.
