Veterinary Services

The buyer requires an onshore USA vendor to provide offsite veterinary services for a government authority in Georgia. The selected veterinarian must oversee animals held as rabies suspects or under rabies quarantine. Scope responsibilities include examining animals during and at the end of the quarantine period, as well as completing and signing all required rabies observation, quarantine, and release documentation. Additionally, the contractor must instruct and guide Animal Services employees on the proper handling, care, isolation, and observation of suspect animals. The veterinarian must also provide recommendations regarding illness, injury, disease control, animal welfare, treatment, quarantine, vaccination, euthanasia, and general animal health. The buyer has not provided key dates or evaluation criteria and seeks proposals to establish the budget.
