Local Food Services for Schools Cooperative Contracts

The Utah State Board of Education Child Nutrition Programs requires contractors to supply locally produced beef and tree fruit products to Child Nutrition Program operators across Utah. Eligible categories include raw ground beef in chubs or pre-formed patties, as well as fresh whole tree fruit such as apples, peaches, pears, and cherries. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid. Suppliers must meet strict location restrictions, raised or grown products within a 400-mile radius of specified Utah cities, and adhere to domestic Buy American requirements and federal or state food safety inspection standards. Bidders must submit all questions by October 16, 2026. Contractors will handle direct ordering, delivery, and invoicing with Utah School Food Authorities, maintaining guaranteed prices for the full contract term unless a written adjustment request is approved.
