Monroe County seeks proposals from qualified, licensed veterinarians to provide professional veterinary care and oversight for Monroe County Animal Services in Forsyth, GA. The requested scope includes rabies quarantine and observation oversight, professional consultation, weekly rabies vaccinations, euthanasia oversight, procurement assistance for controlled substances and medical supplies, and maintaining proper licensing including DEA registration. Submissions must arrive by October 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., as faxed or late proposals are not accepted. Questions must be directed to Jennifer McGettigan by October 16, 2026. The buyer will evaluate proposals based on submitted monthly fees, additional service costs, qualifications, experience, availability, and scope exceptions. The contract term lasts one year with options to renew for two additional one-year terms, while the budget depends on proposed pricing.
