Congregate Nutrition Program Service

The City of Jersey City needs a vendor to provide and deliver unitized fresh meals served or received at 40 degrees Fahrenheit or less for its congregate senior lunch nutrition program. The vendor must individually wrap or package food items to prevent leakage and maintain freshness, offer daily instant coffee and tea, and provide napkins, forks, knives, spoons, and straws. Onshore US organizations are eligible to bid, provided they download the specifications and addenda from BidnetDirect, comply with equal opportunity, affirmative action, and business registration requirements, and obtain necessary insurance. The performance period is one year. Proposals must be delivered to the Division of Purchasing dedicated lockbox in Jersey City, New Jersey, by Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM, while prospective bidders must submit questions online through BidnetDirect. An evaluation committee appointed by the Business Administrator will score proposals based on nine broad weighted criteria, which include required format (15 points), cost (25 points), and qualifications/prior experience (10 points).
