Music Bands Free Concert Series Service

The City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for RFP # 1029-2026A to provide professional music bands for its Thursday Free Concert Series. Selected performers will deliver live entertainment across diverse genres—such as country, classic rock, pop, and Motown—for six Thursday evening concerts from March through June at Heritage Place in Downtown Conroe. Only USA-based onshore organizations are eligible to apply, and contractors must provide three valid reference contacts and submit a completed bid packet. Proposals must be submitted electronically via Email, Online, or through the OpenGov Procurement Portal by October 29, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with all questions due no later than October 26, 2026. Awards will be evaluated based on the best value to the City. The contract term is for one year, with an option for a one-year renewal term. Specific pricing details must be included in the bid packet, and payments will be issued through a blanket purchase order.
