Electrician Services

The City of Naperville seeks a full-service, licensed electrician or electrical firm to provide low-voltage and commercial electrical services at various City facilities on an on-call, as-needed basis. The scope includes electrical repairs, modifications, general fixture installations, and troubleshooting issues with pumps, backup generators, UPS systems, lighting, and HVAC systems. The contract term lasts for one year, and the vendor must issue written "Not to Exceed" price quotations for individual projects as they arise. Eligibility is limited to US organizations. Contractors must provide journeyman electricians with at least three years of experience or properly registered apprentices, and personnel must hold valid State licenses and identification. Questions must be submitted electronically through the OpenGov portal by 2:00 pm on October 26, 2026. Final bid responses, including an Affidavit of Compliance, must be submitted digitally via the portal by November 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Prior to contract award, the selected vendor must furnish a Certificate of Insurance and comply with all applicable permits and safety standards.
