Waste Water Treatment Engineering Services

The Township of Berkeley Heights requires qualified individuals or firms to provide specialized wastewater treatment engineering services on an on-call basis. The selected vendor must offer general advice regarding a 3.1 MGD water pollution control plant, pump stations, NJDEP permits, planning services, and other specialized engineering needs. Eligible bidders must be US-based entities whose assigned personnel hold a valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in New Jersey and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience providing relevant engineering services. The contract term runs for one year, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Applicants must submit an original and one signed copy of their proposal to Township Clerk Angela Lazzari by 10:00 A.M. on October 30, 2026. Proposals must include a technical proposal detailing staff qualifications, descriptions of similar services provided in the past five years, an Affirmative Action Statement, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Owner Disclosure Statement, an Affidavit of No Conflict of Interest, an Affidavit of Contribution Statement, and a New Jersey Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran form. The evaluation committee will assess proposals based on the relevance and extent of qualifications, availability of personnel, and the reasonableness of the cost proposal.
