Environmental Hazard Abatement Services

The State System of Higher Education in Pennsylvania requires environmental hazard abatement services for hazardous substances on an as-needed basis. The requested scope includes the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and mold or mildew, as well as necessary restoration or reconstruction services to deliver a complete job. Only onshore US organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must enter bids on the provided Bid Form and upload it in PDF format along with all required items to the PennBid Bonfire platform before the bid due date. All questions must be submitted online no later than October 19, 2026. Bidders may be required to submit bid security and, if selected as the apparent low bidder, must submit one original hard copy of the Bid Form and bid security within 48 hours of the bid opening. The buyer contemplates awarding a no-value work order contract for construction under which individual work orders will be issued. The contract period will run for one year, and the buyer is currently looking for proposals to establish pricing.
