Cleaning Services

The Portland Water District seeks vendors to provide onsite cleaning services for its facilities in Portland, Maine. Requested duties include vacuuming carpets, sweeping and dust-mopping tile, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, stripping and waxing tile floors, cleaning doors, frames, light switches, and railings, and laundering off-site approximately 30 PWD-provided towels weekly. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must submit signed copies of Attachment 2, Attachment 3 (Bid Pricing Sheet), and Addendum Number One with their bid. Attachment 3 requires separate, annual total lump-sum prices for contract years 2027, 2028, and 2029 that cover all routine and periodic cleaning in the scope of work. Questions were due September 28, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting occurred on October 6, 2026. Cleaning must take place after 4:00 PM, and PWD will issue access badges for each location.
