Commissioning Agent Services

The Bungay Elementary School Building Committee and the Town of Seymour, Connecticut request sealed qualifications and proposals from qualified professional firms for commissioning agent services. The selected firm will serve as the commissioning agent for the design, construction, occupancy, and closeout of the new Bungay Elementary School building and grounds, as well as the abatement, demolition, and sitework for the existing school building. The scope includes establishing owner requirements, developing specifications, conducting environmental remediation required by Connecticut law, calibrating building systems, and verifying compliance. The contract term is for one year, and work must be performed onshore and onsite in Seymour, Connecticut. Eligible applicants include onshore US professional firms with the necessary technical disciplines, key personnel, and tools to perform the services. Vendors must submit questions by October 27, 2026, and final submissions are due by November 10, 2026. Applicants must submit cost proposals, as the buyer is looking for proposals to determine the budget.
