Building Management System Maintenance, Repairs and Services

The County of San Mateo Department of Public Works needs a single vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and service for Building Management Systems across various County-owned facilities. The selected contractor will handle routine maintenance, 24/7 emergency repairs, system upgrades, technical support, program adjustments, and integration of new technologies to ensure optimal performance. The anticipated contract term is up to five years, and performance of work will be offsite. Only onshore, USA-based organizations registered with the System for Award Management are eligible to bid. Interested vendors must submit proposals electronically via OpenGov by 5:00 pm on October 30, 2026, and submit all questions by October 20, 2026. Applicants must include a letter of introduction, an executive summary, and proof of general liability, workers' compensation, and professional errors and omissions insurance within three business days of request. The County will select the responsive, responsible proposer offering the overall best value.
