Professional Janitorial Services

The Virgin Islands Port Authority seeks bids from qualified and licensed janitorial firms to provide labor, supervision, and transportation for daily cleaning and sanitation services. The contract covers three marine passenger facilities in the St. Thomas/St. John District, including the Red Hook, Cruz Bay, and Enighed Pond terminals. Scope includes cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining restrooms, office spaces, common areas, glass, trash receptacles, exterior areas, and a barge ramp dock. VIPA provides the cleaning supplies, disinfectant, tissue, hand soap, and paper towels. Eligible onshore U.S. janitorial firms must submit required attachments, including a Virgin Islands or state/city business license, $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance certificate, Articles of Incorporation, Certificate of Good Standing, Government Insurance or Workers' Compensation certificate, and a proposal detailing experience and available personnel. A non-mandatory site walk-through occurs on October 27, 2026. Bidders must submit questions by 9:00 AM AST on November 4, 2026, and submit electronic responses by 2:00 PM AST on November 10, 2026. The contract term is one year, and pricing requires daily rates for each facility.
