Municipal Prosecutor Service

The Borough of Franklin in Sussex County, New Jersey, requires a Municipal Prosecutor to conduct prosecutions and appeals involving crimes and offenses cognizable by the Municipal Court. The contracted prosecutor will also handle ordinance violations of the Borough and complaints from any department under state law. Performance of the offsite work spans a one-year contract term. All proposers must be onshore U.S. entities fully licensed under State law to perform the required legal duties. Submissions require a copy of the proposer's New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, cost details including hourly rates on the provided Standardized Submission Form, and all specified disclosures and certifications. Applicants must submit sealed proposals electronically via BidNet Direct by November 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM. No physical submittals will be accepted.
