Labor Counsel Services

The Township of North Brunswick seeks an onshore US organization or individual to provide labor counsel services. The required scope includes offsite public sector labor counseling and employment law services involving traditional labor matters, compliance counseling, and employer or employee dispute litigation. The respondent must demonstrate expertise in these areas, present clientele references from government entities such as municipalities, counties, state agencies, or school boards, and foster cooperative relationships with unions to resolve labor issues without litigation. Proposals must be submitted online only through the OpenGov supplier portal by November 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. Submissions require a completed proposal submission, a rate schedule, a ownership disclosure statement, and a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, alongside a current W-9 form and designated insurance coverages prior to contract award. An evaluation committee appointed by the Purchasing Department will evaluate and rank proposals using a weighted criteria methodology.
