Office of Waste Management Comprehensive Operational Review Service for UMass Amherst

The University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks proposals from qualified USA-based organizations to conduct a comprehensive operational review of its Office of Waste Management. The awarded contractor will perform an offsite review analyzing waste generation and diversion performance, workflows, collection routes, staffing, fleet and capital equipment, compactor infrastructure, preventive maintenance practices, and employee training. The contractor must deliver data-supported recommendations, an Excel-based equipment replacement plan, draft language for a fleet replacement RFP, and a prioritized implementation roadmap to enhance service quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Invoicing will occur on a monthly or milestone basis with net 45-day payment terms, and all travel expenses must be pre-approved by the University.
