Township of Bordentown Solicitation for 2027 Insurance Broker Services

The Township of Bordentown is soliciting proposals for an Insurance Broker to serve the township for calendar year 2027 under a one-year contract. The selected vendor must obtain quotes from insurance carriers, service township needs, assist with open enrollment and difficult claims, interact with human resources personnel, review quarterly loss ratios, and make cost-saving recommendations. Eligible vendors must be USA-based entities with a valid New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and professional errors and omissions insurance. Proposals are evaluated based on qualifications, experience with New Jersey municipal entities, familiarity with the township, availability, proposed compensation structure, ethics, and conflicts of interest. Applicants must submit one sealed original proposal package and a PDF copy via email to the Office of the Township Clerk by November 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Submissions must include the required proposal cover sheet, completed Attachments A through I, and a copy of the firm's New Jersey Business Registration Certificate.
