Event Operations and Production Manager for the 13th Annual South Shore Summer Festival

The South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (SSCC), on behalf of Special Service Area #42, is seeking proposals from qualified USA onshore firms to serve as the Event Operations and Production Manager for the 13th Annual South Shore Summer Festival. The selected contractor will provide turn-key event management including marketing, PR, site layout updates, volunteer deployment, musical entertainment, exhibitor coordination, permit assistance, and budget tracking. The festival will take place on August 16, 2026, at the South Shore Cultural Center in Chicago. Eligible respondents must demonstrate experience with large-scale outdoor public events and compliance competency with the City of Chicago, Chicago Park District, and DCASE requirements. Application submissions must include key personnel, cost proposals, a copy of the business license, certificates of insurance, disclosures, and a subcontractor affidavit. Proposals are due via email by 5:00 p.m. on November 16, 2026, and all written questions must be submitted by November 4, 2026. Proposals will be evaluated on demonstrated experience, understanding of compliance requirements, references, and proposed fee structure.
