Department of State Hospitals Water Treatment Maintenance and Analysis Services

The Department of State Hospitals – Patton seeks a contractor to provide water treatment maintenance and analysis services. The selected vendor must provide all sampling, testing, treatment, chemicals, and equipment to prevent corrosion, scale, bacteria, and biological growth across various steam, chiller, cooling tower, and water systems. Based on test results or remote monitoring, the contractor must immediately adjust chemicals, feed pumps, and controllers to maintain proper water conditioning. Subcontractors are not permitted for this public works project. Only onshore USA organizations registered with the Department of Industrial Relations under Labor Code § 1725.5 are eligible to bid, and the vendor must pay prevailing wages. Bidders must submit required documentation, including rate sheets, certifications, and proof of performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price. All questions are due by November 11, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting will take place on November 18, 2026.
