Adult Protective Services

The government authority located in Salem, Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide adult protective services. The agency needs to solve the problem of providing legal services per protective proceeding parameters to older adults aged sixty-five and older, as well as to persons with physical disabilities and acquired brain injury. The selected contractor must prepare, file, and present a petition in a protective proceeding until there is an appointment of a fiduciary or protective order, dismissal of the petition through no fault of the contractor, or a stop-work order by the agency. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide a contract attorney registry to petitioners who lack any other means for the appointment of a protective order, or whose means are unavailable. The contractor must inform the agency if financial resources are available. In instances where the contract attorney cannot wait until those resources become available, the agency will pay according to the contract provisions upon agreement with the contractor. Only United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The contractor will perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
