Quality Parenting and Caregiving Respite Services

The Tuolumne County government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide quality parenting and caregiving respite services. The selected provider must reside at the home twenty-four hours a day during each scheduled respite period to ensure a safe and stable environment for the children in care. The provider must maintain a safe and sanitary environment at the home, perform basic housekeeping duties, and provide nutritionally balanced meals and snacks. The scope of work requires the provider to remain in compliance with Resource Family Approval written directives set by the Department of Social Services at all times. The provider must maintain current certification, attend required meetings and trainings, and maintain working relationships with County staff and community partners. Additionally, the provider must transport children to school, visitations, and other appointments, while reporting and documenting the needs and behaviors of the children placed at the home. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. Although the respite care occurs at the home, the agency notes that performance of the work will be offsite and the vendor needs to carry out work in their office location. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 30, 2027.
