Literacy and Math Tutoring Service

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is seeking a vendor to provide high-quality literacy and math tutoring services to improve student learning outcomes. The agency aims to ensure all elementary students become proficient in math by building solid foundational skills necessary for success in Algebra, college, and careers. For literacy, the agency requires a focus on foundational reading skills in grades K-3 to develop proficient readers who can comprehend diverse texts. The scope of work covers K-3 literacy tutoring and K-12 mathematics tutoring, utilizing an accelerated learning instructional approach to build readiness for grade-level content. Selected providers must deliver initial training and ongoing support for tutors, establish formal tutor time commitments, design structured tutoring sessions, and closely align tutoring with classroom instruction. Additionally, the service provider must support all parents, including those with low literacy levels or those who speak a language other than English, to reinforce learning outside of school hours. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all tutoring services to be conducted offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not signaled a specific funding limit.
