Coastwide Reference Monitoring System Surveying Services

The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana (CPRA) is seeking surveying services to update the elevations of Coastwide Reference Monitoring System (CRMS) stations. This comprehensive effort includes updating elevations for 382 active CRMS sites across 11 project areas. The agency requires the survey to be performed coastwide within the same year, commencing after duck hunting restrictions and concluding before peak hurricane season in late August 2027. The scope of work involves performing all necessary surveying to update station elevations and secondary monuments. This includes repeating high-precision surveys of 53 CRMS Rod Surface Elevation Table (RSET) benchmarks and providing a report on subsidence of secondary monuments and RSET rods. The contracting party will furnish all equipment, supplies, labor, and transportation, including boats and fuel. Bidders must be an onshore USA organization. Performance of the work will be onsite at the CRMS locations. Permission to access properties for surveying activities is the responsibility of the contracting party, who must notify landowners prior to access and respect any access restrictions or permit requirements. The agency is looking for proposals. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 14, 2026. All questions must be submitted no later than August 21, 2026.
