Web-Based Tax Software and Support Service

The buyer requires a vendor to provide web-based tax software and support services. This includes acquisition, integration, maintenance, and support of commercial off-the-shelf tax software, along with middleware and technical services. The vendor must offer help desk services via toll-free telephone and electronic channels, provide access to software updates, patches, and enhancements, and supply user access to documentation, knowledge bases, and FAQs. Support for installation, configuration, and updates is also needed, along with the implementation of updates to support evolving tax processing needs. The vendor must enable and maintain XML data import/export capabilities, including integration with return systems, and develop specific enhancements such as agent reports, audit logs, and data validation tools. Integration testing prior to deployment and ensuring backward compatibility are also required. Eligibility is limited to onshore USA organizations. The performance of the work will be offsite. The buyer is seeking proposals and has not stated a budget.
