Industrial Fire Brigade Structural Fire Trainer Services

The City of Houston is seeking vendors to provide industrial fire brigade structural fire trainer services. The agency requires a purpose-built, single-story, propane-fueled training system designed for industrial fire brigade exercises. The system shall consist of two modified 40-foot steel shipping containers integrated into a unified training structure, providing approximately 640 square feet of interior training space. This system will support repeated, controlled, live-fire Class B training evolutions simulating industrial process equipment fires. The training evolutions will enable brigade members to practice fire attack and hose advancement, valve isolation and tactical decision-making, pump seal and flange leak fire response, spill fire control, crew coordination and accountability, and emergency shutdown procedures. Performance of the work will be offsite. Bidders must be US organizations only. Questions must be submitted no later than August 13, 2026. A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 5, 2026. The solicitation due date is September 10, 2026. The City is looking for proposals.
