Data Analytics Modernization and Databricks Migration Service

The University of California, San Diego (UC San Diego) is seeking proposals from qualified professional services vendors to migrate its enterprise data environment to Databricks. This modernization initiative aims to transition from UC San Diego’s legacy SAP HANA database platform to a unified, secure, and scalable data analytics platform. The successful implementation of Databricks will support growing campus-wide data access needs while ensuring robust security protocols and enabling the secure integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools. The project covers the migration of UC San Diego's enterprise data environment to Databricks. The work will be performed offsite. Eligibility requires vendors to be an Onshore (USA Organization Only). The agency is looking for proposals. The Supplier Q&A Deadline is August 5, 2026. The Response Timeline ends on September 12, 2026, with the Proposal Submission Deadline on August 25, 2026. Final evaluations and anticipated project award are scheduled for October 1, 2026.
