Call for Artists Service

The City of Belton and its Public Arts Committee seek an artist or artists to conceptualize and fabricate a permanent sculpture at City Hall on Main Street. The artwork will be installed on an existing concrete pad and must be completed by April 1, 2027. The sculpture should be durable, require minimal maintenance, and withstand extreme weather conditions, including wind, strong sun, and long winters. The intended audience includes the community and children. Onshore US organizations are eligible to apply. Artists will submit illustrations or photographs of pre-existing artwork or drawings of conceptual ideas. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026. The city is not seeking proposals at this stage.
