District Cleaning Services

The Highlands County Board of County Commissioners seeks a vendor to provide onsite district cleaning services in Sebring, Florida, for the Placid Lakes Special Benefit District. The requested scope includes sweeping the front porch, shaking out or vacuuming floor carpets, wiping down countertops and cabinets with disinfectants, and wiping the inside and outside of the refrigerator and microwave. The vendor must dust A/C return grates, dust A/C vents twice a year, wipe down office desks, clean and disinfect bathrooms, and restock bathrooms with tissue and towels. The contract spans three years. Only onshore USA organizations may participate. The buyer excludes any party currently in active litigation with Highlands County or in unresolved contractual breach with the county. The buyer seeks proposals but specifies no budget or evaluation criteria. Vendors must submit all questions by September 9, 2026, prior to 5:00 PM. The final submission deadline is September 22, 2026, prior to 3:30 PM.
