Assessment Services

The Town of High Level, Alberta, requires an assessor to provide annual assessment services for all assessable property within the municipality, excluding linear property and designated industrial property, for a three-year contract period. The buyer excludes linear property assessments, designated industrial property assessments, and tax roll preparation, tax notice preparation, and tax collection from the required services. The selected vendor must prepare assessments in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and the Matters Relating to Assessment and Taxation Regulation, assign properties to appropriate assessment classes and subclasses, and include supplementary assessments in the fixed annual price up to their proposed annual volume assumption. The vendor must maintain assessment records, perform regular data backups, remedy data loss at their own cost, and provide annual and requested backup copies to the Town. The vendor must supply and maintain a computer-assisted mass appraisal system, including all software, hardware, licensing, upgrades, and data conversion, at their sole cost. Eligibility limits participation to Canadian organizations, and the vendor must perform the work onsite. The buyer seeks proposals for the budget and requires all questions by September 11, 2026.
