Primary Food Service

Kent State University Dining Services in Kent, OH seeks a vendor to provide primary food service across its campuses under a five-year contract. The buyer requires a comprehensive program delivering quality, preferred products, value pricing, and timely, near next-day delivery for fresh items, meats, seafood, dairy, and produce. The vendor must focus on healthy student choices, accommodate dietary restrictions, support certified free-from locations, and integrate with the Jamix menu management system via EDI. Additional scope includes providing food samples, product labels with caloric, allergen, and origin details, storage records, certifications, product dates, recall procedures, and traceability. Only onshore USA vendors are eligible to apply, and performance of the work will take place onsite. The buyer is looking for proposal budgets.
