Audio Distribution System for Human Space Flight

The government authority in Houston, Texas requires an audio distribution system for human space flight. The buyer seeks a system that supports audio architecture growth to a minimum of 64 two-way audio endpoints and accommodates conferencing of up to 8 endpoints simultaneously using ITU G.729 (Annex A) codecs and up to 32 endpoints simultaneously using ITU G.711 codecs. System components must provide continuous operation for 30-day missions at a rate of one mission per year over 10 years. The vendor must provide fixed or portable panel switches, indicators, or graphical user interface displays to configure, control, and monitor system conferences, modes, and status. Additionally, the vendor must assess the system for commercial feasibility of development and certification, and supply a system capable of recording multiple audio sources or mixes. Only onshore USA organizations may bid on this opportunity. The vendor will perform all work offsite.
