Geographic Information System (GIS) Consulting and Contracting Services

The buyer, a government authority located in Alberta, requires geographic information system (GIS) consulting and contracting services on a temporary, as-needed basis. The buyer seeks ongoing support to supplement internal capacity and specialized expertise for its enterprise GIS environment. The requested scope includes advisory, architecture, implementation, integration, and data management services. Additionally, the selected vendor must support the planning, design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the GIS environment across Esri, Safe Software, VertiGIS, and Microsoft platforms. Scope areas encompass GIS strategy and governance, enterprise architecture, WebGIS application delivery, system integrations, ETL and data workflows, and GIS data lifecycle management. To eligible to bid, vendors must be Canadian organizations. The buyer specifies that the vendor will perform all work offsite. The buyer has not provided a fixed budget and is looking for proposals. Bidders must submit all questions no later than September 22, 2026.
