Third Party Workers’ Compensation Claims Administration and Managed Care Services

The City requires a vendor to provide offsite third-party workers’ compensation claims administration and managed care services. The selected vendor must determine liability for claimed injuries, authorize timely medical and indemnity payments, review and compute settlements, pay applicable penalties, and maintain factual claim files. The scope also includes bill review to reduce non-compliant or duplicate charges, utilization review to disallow unneeded services, nurse case management to manage care and return-to-duty efforts, and detailed claim documentation. Only onshore vendors located within the United States are eligible to apply. The City seeks proposals to determine the project budget. Eligible vendors may submit responses digitally through email or online.
